Thank you so much for considering me to be your wedding photographer! I already know your celebration amongst the trees at Willowdale Estate will be so gorgeous! But more importantly, I know that it will be a meaningful day surrounded by your friends and family. I loved hearing that Erica's family was in on your proposal and I can only imagine the joy you will all share on your wedding day! It's even more special that this will be Alex's first American wedding. What an incredible day it will be!
From speaking with Erica I can tell that your love for nature was an important factor in deciding on your venue, and I have so many ideas on ways we can incorporate that into your wedding photos. From pops of greenery woven into your wedding detail photos to a stroll through the nearby trees at sunset, soaking in all that pretty, glowy light, I hope to bring your dream wedding images to life!
I know the inside of the venue seems on the warmer side, I have no doubt that we could still capture stunning, light filled images like you see in my portfolio. After looking closely at the wedding suite at Willowdale Estate, I am excited to share with you that I actually think it would photograph quite beautifully! There are some darker elements in the room, but there is also a lot of stunning natural light, windows and of course - my favorite - white ceilings.
One of the most important tasks for me on a wedding day is to quickly assess the lighting situation and guide you to the locations that will photograph the best and therefore, make you look your best!
I've included three sample galleries below. Two out of the the three were weddings that took place in historic homes that have been converted into wedding venues much like Willowdale Estate. (Liz and Bryce and Sara and Nate) Through careful location choices and even some camera techniques, we were able to capture beautiful images that are full of light! These venues have several dark rooms, including the bride and groom's suites. But in both galleries, we found rooms that gave us a good backdrop and great light for photos. And for the bridal portraits of Sara on the stairs? You'd never know that we were in a dark hallway. 1. Wedding Day Coverage
From getting ready in the morning to dancing the night away at your reception, it's important to us to tell your whole wedding story. So we offer ten hours of coverage to ensure that we can do exactly that!
2. Second Photographer
My husband, Zach, is my trusty second shooter. It's wonderful being able to celebrate your love with the one I love the most. Plus after ten years of marriage Zach can almost read my mind which makes us an unstoppable team!
3. Photography Timeline Assistance
Photography plays a huge part in the timeline of your day. So we will always help you when it comes to creating your photography timeline! If you are working with a planner or coordinator, we will happily work with them too!
4. Online Gallery
Your online gallery will be delivered to you sixty days following your wedding and will be live for one year following your big day. And if you'd like to share with your loved ones all you have to do is send them the link. So easy!
5. High-resolution downloads and printing rights
You will be able to download your images in either high-resolution or social media sized, whichever you prefer! You will also have printing rights so that you can print your images wherever you wish!
6. Fine art prints and albums
If you'd prefer to print through our professional grade lab, you can easily do so through your online gallery! We also offer heirloom wedding albums which can be included in your collection or purchased following the wedding.
